I’m Matt, founder of Studio September, photographer, creative, and lifelong visual storyteller. Based in Sydney and originally from the South Coast, I’ve spent over a decade immersed in creative industries, from oil painting and tattooing to photography, branding, and graphic design.

Studio September began as a natural extension of my love for both design and emotion, logic and love, structure and story. My work is deeply rooted in capturing connection.

I specialise in documentary style wedding photography, as well as commercial visual campaigns that bring brands to life. I don’t believe in filler or fluff. I believe in legacy, in depth, in the art of creating something that feels like you. Whether it’s a wedding, a rebrand, or a full-scale production, my goal is always the same: to build something that lasts.

From quiet beginnings to a quiet roar.Studio September began as a single camera and a simple promise: to document love honestly. What started in intimate ceremonies has grown into a loyal collective spanning two states, built not on trends, but on trust. Today, we are a full throttle media house, yet our heart remains the same. honouring the privilege of witnessing your most significant memories, one frame at a time.
